scary shots

This is the list of "scary shots" used in thrillers very often:

  • ECU, to emphisise something, put it in focus, bring attention to it. Also used to convey emotions.



 





  • Long shot, so the audience can see the surrounding and possibly what's happening around the character.


  • POV shot, to get audience involved and see something from character's prospective.

  • Low/ high angle shot, used to show status, emotions, create fear or power. Low angle shots can be used to emphasise how big something it.
