definition of suspence

its like an emotion or feeling that occurs to a person or an audience when a sense of tension is created.
so suspence keeps a person or audience guessing and draws attention.

Definitions of suspense

I found the definition of suspense to be exciting as it describes our emotion to the reality of films. firstly, suspense makes the audience/viewer ask very intreasting questions to what outcome of the characters life and health would be. it creates tension, draws you in and makes sure you maintain intrest as it aslo creates cliffhangers.

Definition of Suspense.

To me, suspense draws attention of the audience and "gets them" into the movie, creating tension and viewer's interest. I also think it keeps us guessing, what's might and what will happen next. Audience should automatically create question in their mind. Suspense can be created using technical areas such as camera work, editing, sound and Mise en Scene. I also believe that the plot of the movie matters too. Cliffhangers can be used to create climax.
Good suspense make audience feel emotionally involved. In Hitchcock's words: "audience needs informaition to be able to create emotional response".
